Silent Sunday - Inside and Out

This post is inspired by Mocha Beanie Mummy, and although there's no link-up this week, I'm doing it anyway because I love it! x

  2. Thanks Mich. Yes, it's very strange isn't it. Found it on the beach like that, I'd never seen inside a shell before, found it strangely fascinating! x

  3. Shells are so interesting. There's something about the texture ofthe inside that gives me the heebie-jeebies. We're off on holiday to the coast at the end of the week, maybe my Silent Sunday will be something similar next week!

  4. I was just going to post the same - heebie-jeebies sums it up perfectly! Funny how such an innocent object can give you the shivers!

  5. Hi. I'm posting my Silent Sunday as well, I only just saw that it's not on today! It's a shame someone else couldn't have hosted it for day

I love this, a great idea. It makes me happy as well, as it's reminded me that in June we're taking the twins for their frist holiday: in Cormwall, & I'm really looking forward to exploring beach rock pools with them :)

  9. Thanks for all your comments.

Jacq they are 2 different shells, but almost identical - except one was broken comppletely in half of course! I'd never seen one bisected before, I though it was really interesting to see how the creatures can retreat back inside and hide from predators.

Funny how lots of you are finding it creepy :0)
