I love the concept of a 'Silent Sunday'—it really promotes peace and relaxation! It reminds me of how friday night funkin offers a break through music and rhythm. We could even pair quieter Sundays with some fun gaming sessions to unwind. Maybe a remix challenge could be fun! Anyone else feel the same?
Aha Mol, you truly possess a keen eye! Now I understand the Travel Lodge's perspective. Perhaps the view isn't so "crap" after all. Makes me think of the diligent monkey in Monkey Mart, always finding value even in the seemingly mundane tasks. Maybe he also sees the beauty in unexpected places, just like we're discovering here.
I'm liking it - a bit like Malevich's Black Square http://www.russianpaintings.net/doc.vphp?id=126 - deep!
ReplyDeleteAha Mol, you are so clever. I totally see where the Travel lodge were coming from now. And I just thought it was a crap view! :0
ReplyDeletenever underestimate the Travelodge ;) there's a lot below the surface (or not, as the case may be, depending on how you look at it, ommmmmm)
ReplyDeletenice view ;)
ReplyDeleteBet you wish you'd packed a laser torch to amuse yourself.
ReplyDeleteNeeds one of those things that Hilda Ogden used to call a muriel. Bit of a bland view but cheap prices at least
ReplyDeleteSays it all really!
ReplyDeleteLOL we had exactly the same view just a few floors down!
