When the lovely Beauty chamber contacted me to see if I'd like to review one of their products I jumped at the chance.
It's fair to say as a mum, the time I indulge in maintenance and beauty regimes has nose-dived and as a result there are some areas which are now leaving a lot to be desired! Take my feet for example. I put them through a lot. Walking for miles, keeping them ensconced in warm socks and boots all winter long, jumping in the shower every day and rarely allowing them the luxury of a long soak in the bath.
It's asking a bit much for them to be ready for strappy sandals and bare feet. As I see it, I have two choices - I either leave them to the mercies of a tank full of hungry little piranha fish, or I use Pedikur lotion. No contest! There's no way I'm having anything nibbling dead skin from my soles.
At first glance there was a lot in the way of information and instructions, and it did sound more like a pharmaceutical product than a toiletry. But still, more appealing than the fish! It is not safe to use while pregnant or breastfeeding and you can't use it if you have broken skin.
However, it was simple to use and worked like a dream. I mean, how hard is it to put the cream on then sit and relax for 20 minutes or so? The hard skin on my heels just seemed to vanish and after 2 or 3 uses my feet are now almost as soft as a baby's bottom.
As well as hard skin on your feet, it can also be used to deal with cuticles on your hands. The conditioning and nourishing moisturiser comes with the skin lotion to help maintain soft skin. It smells amazing too!
The Beauty Chamber also offer a huge range of other hair, nail, cosmetic and toiletry products, including my favourite Badger Balms. The site is well worth a visit if you're looking for great quality brands and products.
