It's that time of the year again when we are struck down with coughs and colds. Kids mixing at school, standing on crowded commuter trains and sharing air-conditioned offices means they can spread like wild-fire, but a few simple preventative measures can help keep you and your family protected.
Hygiene and hand-washing is vital to prevent the spread of germs.

I don't know if it makes any difference in regards to colds but I'm a firm believer in not reaching for the medicine. Great post - put to bed some of those myths.

DeleteA really funny folklore myth I learnt when I was living in Italy for any poor soul who woke with a bad cold was "you slept with your bum out of the cover" so my tip would be to cover your bottom when you sleep at night :)

ReplyDeleteooh I do everything to avoid the colds as they always end up with Erin having an asthma attack. Not good.
ReplyDeleteThere is that age old saying "feed a cold and starve the flu" ..... in my book that means eat chocolate :-)
