Win Diono Little Tikes Kid's Car Acessories

Last week we headed off to North Wales for the half term break.  It was a mammoth journey of about 5 hours in the car and I have to say I wasn't looking forward to it.

Keeping a super-active 5 year old entertained as you bomb along endless miles of motorways is no easy task.  The car was rammed to the gunwales with spare duvet; cases; walking gear; coats; cool boxes; kitchen sinks and my foot-well was so stuffed with bags I sat most of the journey with my knees up my nostrils.

Ruby however, was cocooned in her own little bubble, equipped with magazines; drinks; snacks; colouring; toys and anything else she deemed 'essential'.

We had been kindly gifted a new Little Tikes Seat Pal which neatly sits next to her car booster seat.  Off she scurried upstairs, filling it with all she needed for the journey.  She got to take ownership of what she wanted to take with her, and it kept her from under my feet while I was busy packing!

In the car, it sits happily next to her, keeping all her bits and bobs to hand.  We also have a hanging pocket holder on the back of my seat, which was also filled with things to keep her occupied.  No more having to risk certain car-sickness by constantly turning round to pass her things, no more whining for snacks or a drink, and most importantly, no distracting Daddy while he drove.

The Little Tikes Kick mat is perfect for keeping jiggling muddy feet from messing the back of the front passenger seat.  Snowdonia + October = very muddy boots, but when we got home the upholstery of my seat was blissfully mud free.

The range is available to purchase from Tesco, the Seat Pal a very reasonable £5 and the Kick Mat just £6.50 - a great investment I think. Do keep your eye out for more great products from this partnership between Diono and Little Tikes, with even more products coming next year.  The in-car heated drinks holder is genius, but I do wonder if instead of a baby's bottle, I could get my cup of coffee in there!

One lucky reader can win the pair of items shown above, by completing the rafflecopter below.  The winner will be drawn at random and the prize dispatched from Diono.  Giveaway closes at 12:00 on Sunday 17th November 2013.  UK entrants only.

Disclaimer: The prize is kindly donated by Diono.  I attended an event and was gifted a goody bag and a Seat Pal.

  9. We keep our eldest granddaughter entertained by playing I Spy, at first we used to use colours, I spy something that is green etc, now she is a bit older (5) we can use letters though there is sometimes a mix up.

There is no need to keep the youngest grandson entertained, he nods off as soon as you put him in the car, despite the racket made by his older sister.
