NatWest Pigs by Kids Competition

Remember the NatWest piggy banks?  I sure do, but if you're not as old and decrepit as me you may have spotted them on programmes like Cash in the Attic or on ebay - they fetch a pretty penny now.

I remember the lad up the road from us had them.  The whole set.  Mind you, they were minted, most of us would never get anyway near the Sir Nathaniel...  Anyway, let's leave my childhood bitterness behind and celebrate, because yes, the piggies are back!!!

Not only are NatWest reintroducing this great incentive to get kids saving, but your child has the chance to design the pig.

To demonstrate this, we were sent a package of craft materials to create our own little porker.

Oh my!  I'm in crafting heaven

'Preliminary Pig' - before using up the felt.  Sitting ON the table is essential you understand

Isn't she cute? She's a she because she has long eyelashes - obviously.

If you'd like to have a go yourself, check out the #PigsByKids campaign.
