Oh no my friends, it's not just any cup.
It's a moustache mug.
Hooray *throws Veet in the air ecstatically* I can now enjoy my Darjeeling without fear.
So, the next time I have a hirsute gentleman caller, I shall have the very receptacle in which to serve his afternoon tea.

DeleteMy effort isn't strictly related to charity shops (hope that's okay) that has to be the best cup I've ever seen, even if you never used it you could always get it out as a conversation piece.

I am going to invnent a tea cup for the small niche of people who are like me- constantly brewing up but always forgetting it is there. It needs a warming saucer and a 10 minute alarm "Drink your tea!"

We have a moustache mug we thrifted awhile ago that has a little face on it (complete with a big curly moustache - there's a picture of it on our blog in this post if you're interested), but I didn't know these types of mugs were actually called "moustache mugs" until I read this post. Makes ours seem a little sillier :)
