So in love with it have I fallen, that I purchased two copies, so I could give one away to one of you lot!
The Crafty Kid by Kelly Doust is crammed full of irresistibly cute crafts and gifts, both for and with children, from recycled or inexpensive materials.
Although a variety of crafts are included, it is mainly focused on needlecraft, with lots of sewing, knitting, applique etc. There are helpful hints throughout called 'keeping little hands busy' so if you are making with a smaller child there's always something they can do to help, even if they aren't able to do the full project themselves.
There are instructions for a fab looking pom-pom scarf which I'd like to have a go at first, and step-by-step instructions on making a girls dress from an old pillowcase.
I just adore Kelly's style. You MUST check out her blog for loads of beautiful crafts - including instructions to make a teepee and an adorable kid's poncho.

Looks like a wonderful book and I might just have to invest in one of these if I'm not lucky enough to win it.
