Win Goodies and Waitrose Voucher with P&G Everyday Waste Saver

We all like to save a bit of money don't we?  And I'm sure we all remember the successful advertising campaign by Ariel encouraging us to wash our laundry at 30 degrees.

But did you know you can apply this principle to many other everyday activities and save on average £100 on your energy bill and £50 on your water bill per year?

The effective cleaning power of P&G products, means you can turn down the temperature, save money and up to 30% on energy usage:
  •  By turning from 40° to 30° with Ariel
  • When using "Short Cycles" with Fairy Dishwasher tablets (50°/55° /Eco dishwasher cycles  instead of intensive cycles)
  • When using cold 20° water instead of 40° hot water with Flash
Channel 4's money-saving guru Miss Moneypenny has got behind this campaign and has come up with a short video explaining more.

In addition, P&G has partnered with Waitrose and are offering householders the chance to win £3,000 towards their annual energy and food shopping bills, in return for sharing their tips on how to save energy and water around the home. Why not pop over and enter at www.pgeverydaysavings.com.

You can also take advantage of this partnership by stocking up on the special offers currently at Waitrose until 16th July - get two Ariel Gel 24 wash packs for £8, two Flash multipurpose 1.3L liquid for £4, and two Ariel Liquitabs 20’s for £8. (*Pricing is at the sole discretion of the retailer)

I'm also offering readers here the chance to win a selection of P&G cleaning products and a £20 Waitrose voucher (can also be used in John Lewis stores).

If you'd like a chance to win this, please complete the rafflecopter below.

Leave a comment to describe one of Miss Moneypenny's tips in the video.  And if you've got your own savvy tip, why not enter the big competition to win £3,000 too?

a Rafflecopter giveaway

One winner will be chosen at random from all valid entries.  UK only.  One entrant per household.  The winner must provide their postal address. Prize is to be fulfilled and is the responsibility of P&G.  Every attempt will be made to contact the winner, but I reserve the right to re-draw after 7 days.  Closes at midnight on 18th July 2013.

Disclosure:  The prize is kindly supplied by P&G and consists of 1 x £20 John Lewis Partnership voucher; 1 bottle of Ariel Gel laundry liquid; 1 bottle of Flash liquid cleaner and 1 pack of Fairy dishwasher tabs.  I was rewarded for promoting this giveaway with the same.

  41. Using the kettle: only boil as much water as you need. This is one area that I fall down on, as I guess I still have an underlying lingering thought of 'I'll burn the element' - from the days when kettles had a big chunky element that had to be covered in water!

  128. Wash at 30 degrees, I always do this and it works fine (anything really dirty just needs soaking overnight in warm water with a little soap powder first).
My money saving tip is to stand bottles upside down when they're nearly empty to drain out the last bit, and snip open tubes when they seem empty as it's surprising how much is left in that won't squeeze out. x
