I had had a very difficult birth and had to have a lot of surgery following the birth, it was so lonely in hospital as I was placed in a room all alone and feeling so ill an weak it was hard to take care of my newborn son.
When finally I was discharged I went straight home and had a lovely bubble bath and in the peace and quiet of the bathroom I cried and cried and cried. It was obviously something I needed to do, letting out all the emotions, pain and upset I had felt since my little ones birth. When I left the bathroom I felt like a new person again, and despite health visitors continuing to visit for a month afterwards I really made an effort to get up and go out nearly every day. The experience bonded my child and I immensely and my older child thrived on those early experiences we shared together as a family, and I finally started feeling like me again.Kerry Popenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5015030219140669520.post-6810650297036913202012-03-07T13:29:56.395+00:002012-03-07T13:29:56.395+00:00mine was buying a new pair of shoes! for the whole...mine was buying a new pair of shoes! for the whole of my pregnancy my feet had swollen so much i couldnt wear anything remotely nice!marinaricci@hotmail.co.uknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5015030219140669520.post-73263631976101344942012-03-06T09:39:18.773+00:002012-03-06T09:39:18.773+00:00My hello me moment was a glass of wine, espersso a...My hello me moment was a glass of wine, espersso and a chicken liver pate on the toast.darifashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12286507890084552593noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5015030219140669520.post-50633218751379815202012-03-03T20:02:31.460+00:002012-03-03T20:02:31.460+00:00when my baby slept through and also when I went on...when my baby slept through and also when I went on a small shopping trip and left little one with her Daddy, nothing like a bit of 'me time'.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5015030219140669520.post-29162080160634529222012-03-03T16:49:08.556+00:002012-03-03T16:49:08.556+00:00When I got ready for a night out and put new cloth...When I got ready for a night out and put new clothes on that would stay fresh and clean looking for at least the whole night without chocolate, food, sick, milk or any other nastys on it.nataliemay30https://www.blogger.com/profile/04653586075924583578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5015030219140669520.post-75281153331907434822012-03-03T16:12:23.969+00:002012-03-03T16:12:23.969+00:00When I was finally able to sleep more than 6 hours...When I was finally able to sleep more than 6 hours without interuption and eat a meal without getting up part way through
Twitter id @RuthMariannaRuth_Mariannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04745245891599617380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5015030219140669520.post-29899718284984946052012-03-03T16:10:38.244+00:002012-03-03T16:10:38.244+00:00This comment has been removed by the author.Ruth_Mariannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04745245891599617380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5015030219140669520.post-36581652295294678952012-03-03T16:01:08.374+00:002012-03-03T16:01:08.374+00:00My Hello Moment was when i reached my pre-pregnanc...My Hello Moment was when i reached my pre-pregnancy weight and was able to let my hair down once in a while.
