P&G believe it's the little, everyday things that mums do for their children which makes them special. Small gestures or activities which enrich their lives, from teaching them to tie their laces, to getting them ready to go to big school. From washing their hair, to cleaning favourite teddies.
They believe that the “ordinary” things mums do every day have an amazing impact for the whole family, which is why their mission is to make products that help towards making everyday life that little bit better. They are calling this the 'Everyday Effect'.

ReplyDeleteI'd like to thank my mum for showing me how to be confident when the bullies were trying to make my life a living hell, I remember being so badly beaten up by a gang of teenagers when I was just 11 years old that I ended up in hospital for 2 weeks & then I had to go to secondly school with them. Inbeweetn the summer holidays by mum taught me to stand up for myself with words not voilence & how if I acted confident they would feel it wasnt worth their time to bully me. That was the best talent my mother ever taught me & one that Ive used throughout my life & gained great achivements by being confident.

ReplyDeleteMy sister and I are so incredibly lucky to have a Mum like ours in our lives! From day one we have known with utter confidence that we are the centre of her universe. When we were kids she was at every play, every sports day and now she’s doing the same as a Nana. I remember coming home from school and if it had been raining our PJs were always on the radiator and she had us changing into them while she made a hot chocolate. Every meal was home cooked, with pudding! I don’t want to make this a sob story but she has been through the toughest of times in the last couple of years. However, I honestly believe her love and devotion to us as a mother gave her less time to dwell on what was happening to her. It also gave us the opportunity to give back what she has given to us. If every child in the world had a Mum like ours, everyone would grow up to be confident and to know that they had someone to run to, no matter how silly the mistakes they may make in their own lives.
ReplyDeleteMy mum was with me every step of the way when I was expecting my daughter. She was there at the birth and got the bus from miles away to stay with me all day, every day when I was in for the 10 days after. Once I was finally allowed a bath, she first scrubbed it clean in the hospital and even brought salt with her to put in it! Those 10 days with just us three girls were magical and inspired me to try and be even as little bit as good of a Mum as she is.
My mum adopted me and inspired me to do the same. I foster children and have her continued support with a rather large 'extended' family. On behalf of myself and all those that have come into our care - Thank You

ReplyDeleteMy dad was in the merchant navy and was away for most of the years, for pretty much most of my life and my sister's she was the single parent, she brought us both up to be independent women where our self worth ws determined by us and noone else.
